Third in the JAWA Bible, the Mag Spoke goes all the way back to 1969. Relative to the later evolution of this wheel, the Mag Spoke A, the original came in a wider variety of sizes. It does however, indicate the improvements in construction and design that were possible in a later years. 14 6J sizes are a whopping 6.7kg.
Two different styles of centre cap exist for this wheel, and it’s unclear when the change happened (pre-1976). The original wheels used a center cap that was held in place with five bolts screwing into the cylindrical bulges adjacent to the hub relief. The later caps simply pressed in place.
