Work Equip Negative 4H
The Equip Negative was released in 1980 when Work expanded the Equip wheel line-up to include three wheels: this, the original and the Equip Excel mesh. In terms of design, the Negative was the inverse of the original Equip with empty space where spokes existed, and dished aluminum where empty space was. It was a design not too unlike the Hoshino Impul D-01 which launched the same year.
At release, the wheel was also given the model name Equip 3, which lends great confusion as Work re-released the wheel in the late nineties as the Work Equip 02.
Sizes were fourteen inch only, but the “Equip Negative Boy” offered the same look in a FF friendly offset and thirteen inch diameter.
