Speed Star MK.3

Sharing construction with the MK.2, the MK.3 doubled the number of spokes in the center section but maintained the same shell sections.  Like the MK.2, the MK.3 was produced from 1971 to 1996 and then revived again after the turn of the century.  The two wheels are truly brothers.

Like many Speed Star wheels, the MK.3. uses a multi-piece construction, but is welded together after assembly.  Weights are ultra-low, with 14 6J wheels well below the 5.0kg mark.  Available colors were silver, gold, orange, red, and black.
