The Mannheim was a +1 size clone of the popular Mercedes Benz “Bundt” wheels that were produced by Fuchs using a crude forging technique from 1969 through to 1985. The Bel Mannheim brought an extra inch of diameter and width over the original, albeit with conventional casting.
While we have only a single 1986 catalog listing for this wheel, it is quite likely that the wheel saw a long run of production. It is one of many “Bundt” clones produced around the world, and among several with Japanese origins.
