Work Equip Excel Casting 4H
Like the other two wheels that kicked off the Equip line-up, the Excel was available in both single piece cast construction and three-piece construction with spun shell sections. The Excel initially, also carried the model name Equip 2. The wheel was re-released in the late nineties, in three-piece construction only, as the Equip 03.
In cast form, the wheel came in a variety of sizes and offsets, including a high offset “zero scrub” version to accommodate FWD cars. The FR friendly sizes, all appear to have a center mesh section that is the same size regardless of overall wheel diameter. This leads to some massively tall sloped lips in fifteen-inch diameters.
